- Do these fit the dual-cab back windows?
- Yes — the rear dual-cab windows are the main set most HiLux owners want, and they're cut to those exact shapes. Front shades are available too. Most customers order rear-only for kids and pets, but full sets (front + rear) are popular for tradies who park in the sun all day.
- Will they stay on over rough dirt roads?
- They're held by magnets to the steel door frame, which holds well on corrugations and washboard far better than suction cups. For very rough touring you can remove the front shades and keep the rears on. We've tested them on mining access roads in the Pilbara and they stayed fitted.
- Will they fit a HiLux with tinted windows?
- Yes. They mount inside the door frame and add heat and glare control on top of factory or aftermarket tint. Many HiLux owners run both — factory tint plus our magnetic shades for maximum protection.
- Can I get just the rear set?
- Yes — rear-only sets are popular for tradies and families who mainly want the back seat shaded. Let us know and we'll quote the set you need. Most HiLux customers start with rear-only and add fronts later.
- What about the SR5 or Rocco models?
- The shade fitment is based on the dual-cab body, not the trim level. SR, SR5, Rocco, Workmate — if it's a dual-cab HiLux from the matching year range, the shades fit. Send your VIN if you're unsure.
- Do they work with window tint film?
- Yes — magnetic shades and window tint work together. Tint blocks some heat at the glass; our shades block direct sun before it reaches the glass. Running both gives maximum cabin cooling.
- How long does shipping take?
- Most HiLux sets are in stock and ship within 2-3 business days from Sydney. Pre-order models (less common year ranges) take 1-2 weeks. We'll notify you at checkout if your set is made-to-order.
