CarShade sells custom-fit magnetic window shades for Australian vehicles, and publishes the fitment guides that help you order the right set the first time.
The guides exist because fitment is genuinely confusing: the same model name can cover several generations with different glass, and a shade cut for one will not sit properly in another. So we wrote down how to tell them apart — and then cut a set for each one.
What we sell
- Shades templated to a specific make, model and generation — not a generic “sedan” or “SUV” cut.
- Black polyester UV mesh that cuts glare and cabin heat while you can still see out.
- Neodymium magnets that grip the door frame — no adhesive, no suction cups, no tools.
- Sets for front doors, rear doors, third-row glass, quarter glass and the boot window, sold separately or together.
What you’ll find in the guides
- How to identify your car’s generation and body style from the build year.
- How to measure rear windows properly before ordering.
- What the Australian road rules say about shading windows while driving.
- What shades actually achieve for heat and UV — and what they don’t.
